Setting Up Short Codes for Items
Item/ShortCode Assignment allows short codes to be assigned to Items for reporting back to an ERP system.
This feature is found in the Inventory Operations Tab > Item Tools > Item/ShortCode Assignment.
Select the Item Number from the Item Number drop-down box.
The current Short Code will display in the Short Code drop-down box. Short Code will show “Select a Short Code” if one is not currently assigned to the chosen Item.
Press the Update button to save changes.
