Connecting ProGlove Bluetooth Scanners for WithoutWire Mobile

WithoutWire Mobile supports several handheld Bluetooth scanners, including ProGlove devices. Below, you will find more information about the currently compatible devices and the steps to establish connections based on your mobile platform.

NOTE: This brand may require scanning barcodes as part of the setup process. In certain cases, specific parameters need to be generated for your mobile device. It's important to note that if your host device has a highly reflective screen, it may cause issues during the setup phase. Please take this into consideration when determining the manufacturer and connection method that best suits your needs.

ProGlove

ProGlove provides an exceptional hands-free experience, offering different ranges and a streamlined connection method. For Android connection, an additional app is required.

Android Steps

To pair a ProGlove scanner with the WithoutWire app, follow these steps:

Step 1: Download and install the Insight Mobile App provided by ProGlove from their website. Instructions can be found here: https://docs.proglove.com/en/install-insight-mobile.html

Step 2: Return to the WithoutWire app.

Step 3: From the main screen, select the hamburger menu in the top left of the screen.

Step 4: Select Scanners from the slide out menu.

Step 5: Select the ProGlove tab if it is not open already. 

Step 6: Scroll down and tap "TAP FOR CONNECTION BARCODE" below the steps section in the app.

Once the scanner is successfully connected, you should be ready to use it with the WithoutWire app.

iOS Steps

To pair a ProGlove scanner with the WithoutWire app, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open the WithoutWire app.

Step 2: From the main screen, select the hamburger menu in the top left of the screen.

Step 3: Select Scanners from the slide out menu.

Step 4: Select the ProGlove tab if it is not open already. 

Step 5: Scroll down and tap "TAP FOR CONNECTION BARCODE" below the steps section in the app.

Step 6: Scan the barcode that appears on the screen. 

NOTE: The barcode in the image below is a sample and not intended for the connection process.

Step 7: Once connected, the name of the scanner will appear in the connected scanner section above.

You can now leave this screen and start scanning in the WithoutWire app.
