Placing Items on Hold While Receiving

Enter the Item Number of the Item you want to edit and click Search.

Click the Edit link next to the Item that you want to edit.

Under the Receiving Hold Status column, select the appropriate hold status.

Click the Update link on the left side of the screen to save your changes.

If a hold status is selected, any incoming inventory will be placed on hold. 

Depending on the hold status selected, that inventory would have move restrictions and not be able to be used to fulfill sales orders or to be used in production of finished goods.

Click the Cancel link on the left side of the screen to disregard your changes.
