Directed Put Away 

A new Directed Putaway tile will be available on the mobile device starting with version 9.9. This tile allows the user to put away inventory from a designated bin with a similar user interface that’s used in Put Away for Move Orders. This tile is meant to replace the older Put Away tile and will use a suggested zone destination. This tile will supplement the existing Move Order functionality by providing a “location first” approach to Put Away (as opposed to a “Order first” approach on the Move Order screens). 

Directed Put Away Functionality 

An initial screen will present the user with a location selection field where they enter an LP number or bin to put away from. A dropdown accessed via the orange circle will display an available list of put away “from” locations – including the user WIP, and site receiving/MFG bins. If only one location has inventory for put away, it will automatically be populated in the text field. 

After scanning/entering the bin or LP, the user will be taken to the Put Away screen where they are given a view of all inventory in the scanned location. Quantities can be modified by swiping and using the keyboard or counters to increase or decrease the value being moved.  

The summary page will show the user the quantities being moved. The “To” field may be populated to match primary bins or allocation sets. Tapping OK will complete the move.
