Cycle Counting from Devices
To begin a count, tap the Cycle Count icon on the main menu. A list of bin locations will appear. These are the locations that need to be counted.
Tap to select a bin from the list.
A list of items and license plates in the chosen bin will appear.
Select an item in the list. You can also choose a license plate to see what items are on it, then choose an item.
Tap the icon to count the item. Depending on your site's configurations, you may need to scan the item.
If applicable, change the UOM.
Enter the quantity of the item you counted.
Review the information, and if it is all correct, tap the OK button.
You should see the word “Completed” next to the arrow, on the right of the item name, and to the right of the bin name on the main Cycle Count page.
Repeat steps above for every item in the item list.
Repeat steps above for every bin in the original bin list.
If the row is returned with a completed status and grayed out, the user will still be able to select or scan a completed row to further add to the count or modify existing count numbers.
Printing a Product Label
Choose the bin the product is located in.
Highlight the item by tapping it from the list.
Tap the Options button then choose, “Print Labels.”
Select the printer and the number of copies.
Then tap Print.
Zero Counting
If an item has no quantity and needs to be counted, there are two ways to zero count the item. One way is via the process defined in the above section, by just entering “0” as the quantity counted after scanning the item. The other is explained below.
Select the item that is to be zero counted by first selecting the correct bin and then highlight the item.
Tap the Options button, then choose “Zero Count.”
A confirmation dialogue will appear. Tap Yes to zero count the item or tap No to cancel.
The item will be marked “Completed.”
Cycle Count Adjustment
If there is a physical item in the location, but the system does not have it listed, choose this option to add that item to the current location. Just fill out the form to add the item to the count.
When in the bin location, tap Options.
Select the Adjustment option.
Scan the location you are going to add to the count such as the parent bin or license plate.
Enter the item number and quantity for the new Item. Tap OK.
Adding to a Count
To add quantity to an already counted item, choose the bin from the bin list.
Select the item that needs to have the count increased.
Enter the quantity to be added, not the new total quantity.
The appended quantity should appear in the Changed Count field under Qty.
Review the information, and if it is all correct, Tap the OK button.
Subtracting from a Count
To subtract the quantity from an already counted item, choose the bin that the item is located in from the bin list.
To have a lower quantity, the item first needs to be Zero Counted. Follow the instructions for Zero Counting above, then continue here.
At this point, the item should have a counted quantity of “0 EA.” Select the item again and enter the new total quantity, not the difference. The appended quantity should appear in the Changed Count field under Qty.
Review the information, and if it is all correct, Tap the OK button.
