ASN Upload Template

The ASN Upload document contains the following columns:

Warehouse Name – Required

Shipment Number – Required

Ship Date – Optional

Vendor Name – Required

Purchase Order Number – Required

Container Number – Required

Item Number – Required

Quantity Shipped – Required

UOM Desc – Required

Item Value – Optional

Warehouse Name

Warehouse Name is a required field in the ASN Upload Excel file. The WithoutWire program uses the value in the Warehouse Name field to determine which warehouse to import the Purchase Order into.

Shipment Number

Shipment Number is a required field in the ASN Upload Excel file. This field is used to associate records within the same ASN.

Ship Date

Ship Date is an optional field in the ASN Upload Excel file. This will be the date items were shipped. If left blank, today’s date will be used.

Vendor Name

Vendor Name is a required field in the ASN Upload Excel file. The ASN Vendor Name will be entered in this field.

Purchase Order Number

Purchase Order Number is a required field in the ASN Upload Excel file. The Purchase Order Number will list the individual purchase orders that will be included on the ASN. There can be multiple Purchase Orders on a single ASN.  The purchase orders must already exist in WithoutWire to use this template. 

Container Number

Container Number is a required field in the ASN Upload Excel file. The Container Number can be used for multiple lines on the ASN and will be scanned when receiving. 

Item Number

Item Number is a required field in the ASN Upload Excel file. The Item Numbers will be listed for each Container Number on the ASN.

Quantity Shipped

Quantity Shipped is a required field in the ASN Upload Excel file. Quantities for each Item Number will be listed for the individual Container Numbers that will be received on the ASN.

UOM Description

UOM Description is a required field in the ASN Upload Excel file. This field represents the Unit of Measure for this line of the ASN.

Item Value

Item Value is an optional field for Basic items and required for Expiration Date, Lot, and Serial tracked items in the ASN Upload Excel file. This field represents the core value for this line of the ASN.
